Delivery & Warranty Terms

Standard Delivery

Delivery is free of charge to any UK mainland site for dish and glass-washing machines. Lower value items like baskets and accessories will incur a delivery charge if ordered independently to the machine. This will be stated within the shopping basket at the time of payment.

Delivery is usually within 1-3 working days from receipt of order and cleared payment for machine supply orders only. Extended delivery times can be expected dependent on the mix of product ordered and availability of custom made accessories such as tables.

Delivery to a UK mainland site will be during weekday working hours of 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday, but excluding public holidays.

Next Day Delivery

We can offer a next day delivery service. There will be a charge for this service dependent on the quantity being ordered, stock levels and the delivery location. Please contact us if you require this service for pricing and availability.

Please note: The customer is responsible for supplying full site access information regarding the site and clear access. Any access concerns should be clearly stated in advance of delivery. If upon arrival the delivery cannot be undertaken due to site access restrictions that have not been previously identified, then the customer will be responsible for any costs incurred including a re-stocking fee, return delivery charges, specialist handling equipment or additional man power to move the machine up or down flights of stairs.


If a product is ordered and has left the Meiko warehouse and the customer cancels the order a re-stocking fee will be charged. If a machine is ordered and the customer wants to exchange it as they have incorrectly ordered and the machine has not been used in any way then the machine will be taken back and a re-stocking fee will be charged. In this case the machine will be collected and sent back to Meiko’s warehouse and a full detailed inspection will be carried out on the equipment. If the machine is found to have been used in anyway or damaged then this will be chargeable to the customer. Re-stocking fee is chargeable at 20% of the total machine value.


The customer is responsible for supplying full site installation information regarding the site. Any Installation concerns should be clearly stated in advance of this service. Installation of new machine is to within 1.0 meter of isolated and terminated services.

Please Note:

  • We reserve the right, following receipt of an order, to undertake a pre-installation survey of the site to ensure that existing services or new services provided are fully adequate. In the event that services are incompatible with the revised requirements, then we will provide a written report complete with an estimate of costs to rectify prior to any work being carried out.
  • Work to be carried out within an area provided with reasonable access during normal working hours, and assuming a continuity of programme.
  • Services must be “live” at time of installation to facilitate testing and commissioning upon completion of our works. Should services not be available “live” and we are required to return to site at a later date, an additional charge of £135.00 per machine will apply.


All new Meiko warewashing machines are warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in material or workmanship, under normal use and operation for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase.

Meiko UK Limited agrees under this warranty to replace, at its discretion, any original part that proves to be defective under normal use due to faulty material or workmanship, during the warranty period, providing the equipment has been unaltered, and has been properly installed, and has been maintained and operated in accordance with applicable factory instruction manual furnished with the machine.

Factory specified genuine replacement parts, purchased from Meiko UK Limited, or its authorised parts distributor or service agency, must be used to maintain warranty certification. Use of counterfeit, "generic" replacements parts may create a hazard and void warranty certification.

This warranty is void if defect is due to damage resulting from shipment, handling, fire, water, accident, abuse, misuse, acts of God, attempted repairs or improper installation by unauthorised persons, and if serial numbers or identifying marks have been removed or altered, or if equipment is used for purposes other than that intended.

This warranty shall not be binding upon Meiko UK Limited unless the commissioning engineer's work sheet has been duly signed by the customer.

In the event that Meiko UK Limited or its authorised service agency after examining the equipment in response to a report of a defective part as provided above determines that such original part is not defective, then the customer shall pay the costs of the abortive service call.

Meiko UK Limited replacement parts are warranted for a period of 90 (ninety) days from the date of installation by the purchaser. All defects requiring warranty replacement parts must be approved by Meiko UK Limited or our authorised service agency. No other person or company may assume for the Meiko UK Limited organisation, any liability or responsibility, expressed or implied, in connection with its products.

This is the entire and only warranty of Meiko UK Limited products. Meiko UK Limited's liability on any claim of any kind, including negligence, with respect to the goods or service covered hereunder, shall in no case exceed the price of the goods or services, or part thereof, which gives rise to the claim.

There are no warranties, expressed or implied, including for fitness or merchant ability, that are not set forth herein, or that extend beyond duration hereof. Under no circumstances will Meiko UK Limited be liable for any loss or damage, direct or consequential, or for damages in the nature of penalties, arising out of the use or inability to use any of its products.

Meiko UK Limited reserves the right to make changes in design and specification of any equipment as engineering advances or necessity requires.

Refund/Return Policy

  • Goods despatched to the Buyer and subsequently accepted for return by the Company will be subject to an abortive delivery charge.
  • The Company at its absolute discretion may agree to the return of the goods by the Buyer provided that the goods are returned at the Buyers expense, in the same condition and in the original packaging as of the date of despatch by the Company.
  • Any goods agreed by the Company as acceptable for return for any reason (excluding faulty goods) will be subject to a restocking charge of 20% together with reimbursement of any expense incurred by the Company as a consequence of the return of said goods to the Company’s stock.
  • Any goods returned damaged will in return of the goods to the Buyer and no refund being given.
